Guests and volunteers learn by doing and share their talents with others. We offer activities appropriate for all ages: individuals and families, youth and community groups are welcome.

*9 Community Forestry Day
- Yes, It Matters How You Cut and Stack the Sticks
November is when we pile and burn or chip slash; and we may also begin pruning our sapling-sized conifers. Indoor tasks include gear inventory, equipment and tool maintenance and sharpening, general cleaning in the shop and office.
The cook is everyone's favorite volunteer! If you want to share a favorite recipe with our volunteers for lunch, please call at least one week ahead to make arrangements.
