Guests and volunteers learn by doing and share their talents with others. We offer activities appropriate for all ages: individuals and families, youth and community groups are welcome.

*13 Community Forestry Day Tree Planting: Join us in the forest to plant the future, one tree at a time.
CALL AHEAD TO RESERVE A TREE PLANTING SHIFT FOR YOUR FAMILY OR GROUP.
Shifts are 9:00am-noon, or 1:00-4:00pm
We will provide plenty of seedlings, planting shovels and other materials. Trained volunteers will provide instruction and coaching for proper tree planting techniques. Bring your gloves and rain gear!
Lunch: Hot dogs on a stick over a campfire—just the way you like it—and other goodies, too!
8:30am Team leaders arrive, volunteers assemble
9:00am Morning tree planting session, includes training
Noon Lunch - please call ahead 503-632-2150
1:00pm Afternoon tree planting session, includes training
2:00pm Tour: "time-travel" through a variety of stand-ages to learn more about sustainable forestry; 90-minutes; some walking on rough ground. Please call ahead to attend a tour.
4:00 pm Put tools away and clean up

Held at Clackamas Community College and select field locations. Pre-registration required! Refer to the Tree School Catalogue for descriptions of courses offered.
